Maybe you’re looking for a brand to fall in love with, or perhaps looking for some new makeup?
You could even already have one of these products. Either way, I’m going to tell you some things that you NEED in your makeup bag. You won’t regret it.
All about that base!
We’re starting with primer, but it might not be the one that you’re expecting. The POREfessional Matte Rescue primer is my all time favourite makeup base, it absorbs any excess surface oil at the same time as feeling hydrating to your skin, and it gives you a matte finish. It’s a gel based primer but has no feel of oil whatsoever, a definite must if you’re someone who struggles with oily/combination skin, or maybe just someone looking for a better base for your makeup. On the top of that primer, goes another primer (oops.) There’s no rules to makeup so I tend to use two together. The POREfessional Pearl Primer sits perfectly on top of matte rescue and helps to minimise the appearance of pores and fine lines, at the same time as giving you a soft radiance to your skin. As someone who struggles with oily skin, I’ve always tried to matte out my whole complexion, so this product enables me to look glowy without looking oily, it’s a winner for me.
It’s a well known fact that Brows are a big part of most people’s lives these days, so something that’s going to sort out all of your brow “dilemmas” is the product Brow Zings. It’s a small(ish) compact that contains everything eyebrows; tweezers, a mirror, a double ended brush (angled and soft) and more importantly, the wax and the powder. The brush is small enough to give you the control but the product is light to touch that if you make a mistake, some concealer will sort you out. Benefit do 6 different shades so you’re able to find a better match for yourself, which you can get done at the counter. So the wax and the powder; instructions tell you to outline and define with the wax first with the hard angled brush and set with the powder using the softer side of the brush, but it’s so much quicker to mix them into a paste. It stops your brows being such big of a task, which is what we all want, right?
We all know what I’m going to say here, but Hoola is what you need in your life girrllll. It’s the most versatile bronzer going, and it’s great for the fairer skin toned gals like myself who always want to be looking fresh from a holiday. It’s matter, because who wants to look like a bronzed glitterball all over your face? It’s the only bronzer that I’ve used that I can build upon gradually to give myself some healthiness back to my face, it’s a heck yeah from me.
Last but not least, the lovely Roller Lash Mascara. If you’re looking for some separation in your lashes then don’t give it another thought. Roller lash has been on my lashes pretty much for the past two years since, and I don’t give any other mascara the time of day. It hooks and curls your lashes whilst separating them, what’s not to love? It also comes off pretty easy for a mascara, I just use a bit of Garnier micellar water on a cotton pad and it’s off. And an easy to get off Mascara is exactly what you need at the end of the day when you’re cream crackered.
